Raised among mountains and sheep in the small village of Uvdal, Madeléne is a creative soul with a unique expression and a powerful story.

Music has been a natural part of Madeléne’s life since childhood. At just 11 years old, she began playing guitar, and she has been singing for as long as she can remember. She seized every opportunity to perform on stage – whether in church, talent competitions, or UKM.

In addition to music, Madeléne has always had a passion for storytelling, whether through writing, editing, or film. At the age of 13, she started the Instagram account Jentetips together with her best friend. The account quickly grew to become Norway’s largest tips account for young girls, with over 80,000 followers. This led to a contract with Splay and an expansion to YouTube. Later, the duo published the book Jentetips, a collection of new and old advice, which became a bestseller at both Ark and Norli.

After finishing high school, Madeléne chose to follow her heart – and adventure – to Costa Rica, where she lived alone in the jungle and by the beaches. There, she became involved in animal welfare, took care of stray dogs, and documented her life on TikTok. Her profile grew rapidly, and she launched her own surf camp in Costa Rica – marketed exclusively to a Norwegian audience on TikTok. The camp became an instant success.

In the summer of 2023, Madeléne was discovered by the Norwegian music scene and was invited to a songwriting session with the collective The Norwegian Sound in January 2024. She accepted, left Costa Rica, and moved to Oslo. After collaborating with Touché, her musical journey developed quickly, and in 2025 Madeléne signed with Touché Music and Sony Music Norway.

​Her first Norwegian-language song, Går meg vill, was released shortly after and was quickly A-listed on NRK P1. Her third single, Villblomst, was peaking at #22 on the weekly Norwegian streaming charts, and was also added to NRK MP3 radio playlists.

Madeléne also has Swedish roots, with a Swedish mother and a large part of her family in Sweden. She has spent much time on both sides of the border, something that shapes both her identity and her artistic expression.

With a background as colorful as the music she creates, and a voice that touches the heart, Madeléne is a new and authentic voice in Norwegian music.
